I think the biggest thing is for you and your Spouse to sit down and discuss this challenge. We decided together that we were going to do this. Mickey is much better at not spending day by day but he struggles with what is a need. If he needs it, it's a need. Got to love him. But we spend a lot of money just because we have a craving. Not this month. Plus, he is taking the GRE and we need to be able to pay for it. This challenge will hopefully give us the money to do just that.
Day 1
Breakfast
eggs, bagel and apples (from our tree)
Lunch
Sandwiches, yogurt, apples, salad

Of course life doesn't wait for your 30 day No Spend Challenge to be over. We have several things going on this month that could derail our plan. The following are just a few that make us worry:
1. I have a baby shower that I need a gift for next week. I will need to look and see what I can make.
2. My son and his family will be visiting us for a week. We better get planning a menu and inexpensive or no cost activities.
3. I have to travel up to Park City for conference for my job. Luckily the hotel is covered along with a small amount for food. Mickey is traveling with me so we will need to cover our cost with the money they give me. I am thinking about bringing lunch.
